I'd really recommend taking this book up on audio, because it was just gorgeous and Meryl Streep did such a beautiful job. The story overall was beautiful and I liked how it switched back to present and past time and the ending I thought was very beautiful. I do think that if I'd read it with my eyeballs I would rate is lower tbh... Not really a lot happens in the book. Like a lot happened, but it's all told in a very slow pace and I didn't really connect to the characters. The way the story is told through audio is very calming and I loved listening to it while doing other things or winding down before bed.
