So this are two nice short stories, but don't expect too much. btw I haven't read the first two chapters of 13 included in this book, I will wait until I have the complete book.
The first short story is about Elena and Clay's honeymoon and some trouble they run into. It is nice to read about them again, Elena and Clay are my favourite couple in this series so I really enjoyed reading about them again. But well it is a short story so it is pretty short. I always think short stories feel a bit rushed, because they are so short.
The second short story is about Eve and some trouble she runs into in the afterlife. Again it was fun to read about her again, but it was too short. It felt a bit rushed and I still don't see how this short story is going to get connected with 13, I guess I will see that when I read 13. I am curious how this short story is going to relate to book 13.
