an easy read and nice if you are new to dark romance. I like that it was a bit of romantisy but didn't have a lot of things that bother me about other romantisy. Wasn't overly flowery writing and had a good mystery to the story. Trigger warning: mentions of torture and murder. Only mildly described thankfully.
