Ghost of a Chance by Susan Maupin Schmid

4.0

Alright, so the ghost story of this was cliché. And I kept expecting a bigger story to build off of the last one, and FINALLY, it came...but very much near the end. So, I felt that this should have been a short story rather than a novel. HOWEVER...I loved seeing Darling and Roger and Gillian and Princess Mariposa again. It's like...coming home. To a dangerous but lovely castle, with lots of amazing people with vices and virtues, and of course, lots and lots of amazing dresses. I liked knowing more about Darling's deceased family, too - to understand her history was fascinating. I'm excited for the next book!
