Mr. November by Nicole S. Goodin

5.0

I know I say this every time, but I think this one actually is my favourite. For real this time! I didn't think it was possible to make me swoon harder than I did for Mr. October, but here I am, swooning over the humble hero that is Mr. November.

I think one of the reasons I loved this one so much is because there was an added bit of suspense in there - and I'm a sucker for that. But also because Rhett really is an every day hero who remains so humble throughout. He's sweet and caring, and so protective. There's a particular chapter early on that I absolutely adored, but I can't say without spoiling it! You'll know it when you read it though.

I'd also like to mention the strength of Libby, the female lead. When we first meet her, she's very timid, and you can just tell that something has happened to her in the past. What I love about her though, is even with everything she's been through, she's got this inner strength that we get to see come out as she allows herself to get comfortable.

I have to once again give credit to the side characters - Calum and Ginny. These two are awesome. They bring a lot of humour to the story, as many of the Calendar Boys side characters do.

Another fab read from a fab author.
