Overall the book was okay. The grudge that Sophie had for Haze felt unwarranted. Even when you finallllly find out what happen, it didn't make any sense. .
The third act break was so dumb I wish there had been no third act break. If you cannot figure out a good reason for a break then just skip it and let the MCs have a nice ending. For this third act to have worked the author needed to sprinkle in little seeds of doubt throughout.

It did not make any sense why Sophie did not know Haze was sick with the flu. Did Haze have not her number? He got sick ON the day of prom, his mom could have called Sophie if he was too sick to tell her. I cannot believe that his mom did not know he had been planning on going to promThe third act break was so dumb I wish there had been no third act break.
