As a bunny and cat owner this was a bit rough to read. There are aspects of this book I really really enjoyed (magical surrealism, motherhood, and feminism) but being in the Mother's head felt tedious at times. A tad repetitious. I almost wanted it to be shorter? Still enjoyed it though.
