Fancy Bear Goes Phishing: The Dark History of the Information Age, in Five Extraordinary Hacks by Scott J. Shapiro

challenging funny informative inspiring fast-paced

This is... good, actually? As a person working in IT security, I am absolutely shocked to read a book on this topic that is both a great primer for people who know little about tech, generally correct on the finer technological points (sure, I could argue a bit with the author on some very minor details, but they are really very very minor), very entertaining and extremely wise on the topics of solutionism and technical and non-technical solutions to technical problems.

Mr. Shapiro, if we ever meet, let me buy you a beer or other beverage of choice, because this is one hell of an impressive book.
