This is one of the best books I've read in my entire life! Let me explain (I'm sorry it's a bit long 😭):

Whenever I hear about a book having Muslim representation - I get SO NERVOUS. Why? Usually any portrayal of Muslims in the media is a sore disappointment 🙃. I'm like: Muslim? WHERE? Because it's always 1 of the 2 extremes: the t-word or someone with zero Islamic values & both are just trashing on the religion & aren't repping the majority of Muslims AT ALL. They're also scripted & written by people who don't know Islam...so there's that 🤷🏻‍♀️.

The rep I want is a normal person who's just living life. A normal person living life, while being thankful to God & remembering Him often.

Love From A to Z delivered in EVERY ASPECT. If you want to know what Islam and Muslims are about, no matter their race or ethnicity, this book is IT. It's just people living normal lives! But also they can't because of islamophobia and this was sooo eloquently written 🥺❤️. The girl is angry, and although at many times it seemed a little immature to me, her anger is justified 💔.
The relationship between Adam and Zaynab was also perfectly executed in the Islamic way - we abstain from casual dating/sex because we believe in a lifetime partner and Adam and Zaynab are literally the king and queen of showing how we do it 🥰.
Also, the DIVERSITY 😱. Literally every single character is a different race, even the parents. The best part was, their differences and cultures are acknowledged so amazingly ♥️. I GOBBLED IT UP.
~~~
I have a little soft spot for Adam because I share some personal life situations with him. But Zaynab is literally the clone of myself from when I was a teenager 🥺♥️.
~~~
I'm not joking when I say EVERYONE needs to read this book. Especially if you're not Muslim, so that you can clear for yourself many, many misconceptions about us ♥️.
