this was a bit of a challenge for me, particularly in the beginning. i found the writing in the beginning hard to follow with a lot of run-on sentences and just confusing wording. there was also a lot of very descriptive body horror, gore, and particularly hard to read animal death that made me seriously question if i wanted to continue reading or not - or if i even could bring myself to. ultimately, though, i pushed through and found the story to be a compelling one of revenge, grief, and the tale as old as time: what goes around, comes back around. again and again and again. i don't think this one was totally for me though, but the concept was there.
Graphic: Animal death, Body horror, Child death, Gore, Blood, Murder, and Schizophrenia/Psychosis
Moderate: Racism
very descriptive body horror, gore, and a whole lot of animal death!!!
