Dead Man Walking by Giana Darling
5.0
4.5⭐
“Loving you isn’t a worse fate than death. The idea of not loving you? That’s what makes me feel like I’m dying.”
Giana did it again, another masterpiece and another book where I'm emotional af.
Dead Man walking, follows Bea and Priest. Priest is a character I've been intrigued about since the start. Er didn't know anything about him, the only thing being that he had a troubled past and that he would do anything for his family. He didn't disappoint me and all through the book I felt for him. Every time he had an internal battle regarding his true feelings towards Bea. Him feeling anything at all. I just wanted to hug him and say that everything would be alright. Exactly, what he DIDN'T want.
All of these fallen men book have been incredibly written and had amazing relationships. They've all been profound and beautiful. This one however, I felt so much for Priest it was so deep and he truly struggled. But when he found what was his and decided to take it. Bea was his, no matter any force.
To be completely honest, I pushed this series away because the tropes scared me. The first two book had tropes I rarely read and liked. So I pushed it away and left it on my TBR list. I'm so happy I decided to read this series. It's incredible. Even thought the first two book had tropes I normally don't like, I loved the books. Now I've fallen down the rabbit hole that is the Fallen Men and I don't want to get out. This series had taken up a place in my heart and will stay there.
Lesson's in Corruption | ★★★.75
Welcome to the Dark Side | ★★★★.25
Good Gone Bad | ★★★★.75

Dead Man Walking |★★★★.5
