The Cabin by Natasha Preston

2.0

This book was...not great. The writing itself is unoriginal and at times reads like a mediocre fan fiction. It's full of superfluous conversations and details, not to mention inconsistencies in details (age of characters, times, etc.) None of the characters are fleshed out enough to be able to distinguish them from one another, and the "twists" feel poorly thought-out and lazy. I really wanted to like this book because it was given to me as a gift, and from the description it seemed right up my alley, but unfortunately it fell flat and I finished reading it just to get it over with. I would not recommend this book.
