Amy Snow by Tracy Rees

4.5 stars
A quiet, gentle story of the orphan Amy Snow and her great friendship with her adopted sister. It has the feeling of a book of its time - perhaps something by the Bronte sisters or Charles Dickens if he wrote books centered around women. The romance is the weakest part of the story, but I'm sure it's intended to be Historical Fiction rather than Romance.
