Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg by Shana Knizhnik, Irin Carmon

4.0

What a delightful, celebratory biography. Strong mix of serious, laudatory, and light details. I laughed, I grew livid, and I grew to love the Honorable Ms. Ginsberg's tenacity, intelligence, and fierce sense of justice.

Why three stars?
A few parts of the book are repetitive, and the anecdotes are sometimes a bit too precious in their presentation. Segments of historical fact seemed dull next to other biographical information, as though the writers' interest was uneven.

Still, kudos to them for this book. I hope it introduces younger and hipster readers to the living legend that is The Notorious RBG, and how much she has done to help our nation's justice system evolve to see and end gender and other inequalities in order to form a more perfect union. ;)
