I haven't read a thriller in such a long time and The Donor did not disappoint! Despite the book being a quick read at only 100 pages, Clare MackIntosh had the pacing spot on. 100 pages is not a lot to introduce us to the characters, their background and explore the new plotline but I did not feel The Donor was rushed in anyway.
The Donor is an engaging and well written thriller packed full of twists and turns that cannot be predicted. With the plot twist at the end, Mackintosh could write a sequel and I would most definitely pick it up.
I really appreciated the information on the importance of being an organ donor woven throughout the storyline as it is such a vital service and everyone should be aware of the importance and how to register.
