I read this book as part of a year-long competition between myself and my best friend; she is making me read some of the worst, smuttiest books she has ever read. This was April's read and has been the worst so far. To claim that this protagonist is likable in any way would be bull****. To say that this book is anything more than the shells of plot, setting, and characters to thinly veil the fact that it's all just an excuse to write graphic alien porn would be a bold-faced lie. If I was determined to list everything I hated about this book, I would be here all day. If you just want some alien porn, hey, this is the book for you. But if you're looking for anything resembling a novel, you're going to have to look somewhere else.
