Thanks so much to the author for a copy to read and offer my opinion. So this book felt like a train wreck ready to happen. Fate brings Faye and Kyler together but it looks like family will tear them apart.
What did I like? This author is known for holding her cards close until the cliffhanger or the sequel. Faye comes to the United States because her parents were killed and since she’s not 18, she gets to live with her uncle. Only family life here is straight jacket worthy. Very little for Faye to do besides just hold on for the ride but her feelings for Kyler are complicated.
Would I buy this or recommend? There is a ton of angst not to mention a ton of things going on but for the first book that’s the usual. Can’t wait for part two. This book was enjoyable and I’d definitely continue the series!
