Clever, adorable, and funny! Selznick's always incredible illustrations combined with husband David Serlin's cute little stories about a baby monkey PI. Serlin uses a pattern for each story, so that by the end kids will make assumptions, but then the last story has a twist. Selznick changes objects in Baby Monkey's office to match the story, and includes a key in the back, which on its own is informative and educational.
Kids will love this. Beginning readers will gravitate towards it.
