2.5

It took me forever to finish this book, and I honestly didn’t like it. The last third of the book was so slow. It was painful to read the description of Thailand as “poor, dirty, etc
Rosie’s whole conversation with K was cringy. Asking how K had kids. Then K basically making Rosie feel better. It was full on white centering
I started seriously skimming. The end was also very cheesy and too happy ending / live, laugh, love. From the beginning, the binary gendering was annoying. Then just threads of microaggressions from Mr Tongo being described as “every nationality”

Overall, I’d recommend skipping this book.
