All We Ever Wanted by Emily Giffin

2.0

... What, exactly, was the point of this book? Maybe it was intended to be realistic, a picture of what actually happens in these kinds of situations (simple, spontaneous decisions rather than introspective and commonsensical ones), but I felt that there was no true development of the events taking place, merely an accounting of them, so I was left feeling like it was contrived and poorly thought out. The "resolution" infuriated me. Show me the consequences of the characters' decisions, the parts of their lives that were forever changed because of their actions.
