One More for Christmas by Sarah Morgan

This was my first Sarah Morgan book and I thoroughly enjoyed the author’s writing style.

We follow sisters Samantha, Ella and their estranged mother Gayle (who haven’t all been together in 5 years) to an estate in the Scottish highlands for Christmas where we see if the magic of the season and the setting can bring this family back together.

We spend a lot of time at the start getting the family’s backstory, which is definitely relevant but I have to be honest at one point I was eager for them to hurry up and just get to Scotland.

Despite that, this was a really cute, sweet read. I didn’t feel it was overly Christmas centred, other than the fact they were travelling there for Christmas (very little of the book was focused on the holiday itself) so I’d say it’s more a winter read than a Christmas one. Perfect escapism though.
