The F Word: A Personal Exploration of Modern Female Friendship, by Lily Pebbles

2.0

Pros; This book had me thinking a lot about my female friendships, and talking to my bestie throughout it. It reminded me to reach out to a friend who was struggling to check in, and let her know I'm thinking about her. It reminded me of the biggest falling out I've had with my oldest friend, though I couldn't remember why we fell out.

Cons; The book felt a bit unrefined, the concept and the germs of the idea were really strong but the end product had me frustrated, or simply surprised at points.

If you are a fan of Lily, it's worth a read. It was clearly a passion project of hers, and has impacted me. It wasn't the book I was expecting.
