The style of this book is so unique, as it’s written as a series of interviews which feels very engaging and creates a very unreliable narrative. I love how the characters’ voices come through so strongly, and watching them contradict leaves some mystery as to what really happened. The vibes of the book are very sex and drugs and rock and roll and set the scene perfectly. Normally I don’t really care about songs written in a book but these were pretty compelling and watching them be written was so interesting in a new way. I will say a lot of the characters blurred together for me, and that Billy and Daisy could be really annoying, but overall a fun and quick read. Now I really wish I read this as an audiobook, but hopefully the show will solve that for me.
