I *technically* read this off the Webtoons site, but considering I'd checked out a physical copy of Vol. 2 without realizing that it wasn't Vol. 1, I'm going to go ahead and count this as read anyway. I did have to go through it to get to Vol. 2 after all.

I actually liked this more than I expected to! I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this version's portrayal of Hades and Persephone, but I didn't mind it that much. I can tell there's going to be much more built up with Persephone's character development over time and how she really internalizes things. Smythe makes her naive but not so naive that I'd say she comes off as dumb. I quite appreciate the artwork, there's a stunning use of color that makes it easy to be sucked into this world, and I couldn't believe how fast I scrolled. If I had one complaint, I'd say the chapters themselves are a bit on the shorter side.
