Election Meltdown: Dirty Tricks, Distrust, and the Threat to American Democracy by Richard L. Hasen

4.0

This is a fairly non-partisan look at the American election system. It includes problems our election system faces, suggested fixes, as well as a look at the spread of misinformation and social media. I'm sure the right would feel attacked reading this book, because it calls out the dangers of Donald Trump, but also quickly points out there could be another Donald Trump in this country's future -- and could be a Democrat or Republican. The book focuses on examples of problems, then solutions. However, it doesn't go too in-depth. If you buy the Kindle version, be aware that it ends at 50%.
