Eliza Goldberg likes her set schedule. Is there someone out there that can take her outside her comfort zone? Charlie Hamada seems to be in the right place at the right time. I loved how there was awkwardness as Charlie gets to know Eliza. They both seem easygoing as they get to know each other.

The whole story seemed to have that vibe where you had no choice but to relax as you read about the growing relationship between our main characters. And we get to chuckle and that can never be a bad thing. I enjoyed the secondary characters as well but there were a couple of times where I felt something was missing – I know, I have some reading to catch up on. This is a standalone so it’s not necessary but we have secondary characters that are important to Eliza and they deserve a chance for me to see why they are so important to Eliza. Plus I want to see if they get a romantic ending like I read here.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
