Fun and easy to read, but ultimately it fails as both a mystery novel and a science fiction novel.

The hook for this book is pretty compelling and there are the bones of a good concept in here. It's just very poorly executed.

The way cloning is used as a tool in this novel makes you think that you're going to have the face some philosophical and moral dilemmas about the ethics of cloning, but the thread is completely dropped and never explored at all.
