Okay, so definitely do not read this if you don't like horror/jacked up books! Overall, the writing of this book was really well done I think. The descriptions of certain scenes and characters mindsets were super vivid and I enjoyed that. This is not a happy book and is not something I liked explaining if someone asked "what're you reading?" haha. This was as bad if not worse than the Troop by Nick Cutter when it comes to severity and body horror. The fact that they're little kids (6 years old) makes it worse in my opinion than the Troop (ages 14ish). But I knew what I was getting myself into with this one and I actually enjoyed it! Though, would not recommend to many people lol. 4/5.
