You know, Haven did have first dibs. And I'm just not buying the whole Damen-and-Ever-are-soul-mates thing. I just don't believe it. Damen went against the natural course of things by interfering with Ever and Jude's relationship in every life they have. I strongly believe that Ever and Jude are soul-mates because Haven had a point when she said that Ever is only along for the ride with Damen. I'm just not feeling it. But I can definitely see the connection when she's around Jude. While I see that they're not on the best of terms, I want it to work out between them. And honestly, I think Damen and Haven should try out a relationship. If Ever is with Jude and Haven is with Damen, it'll fix Haven and Ever's problems and it'd be a happy place to be.
I'm glad Ever finally grew a brain in the last part of the book. It's about time in my opinion. I am upset that. On the other hand, it opens up the possibility to Ever that maybe she's just not meant to be with Damen. That's my view of it anyway. I'm rooting for Jude all the way. I do not see these books about to convince me of Ever and Damen's love. It's just not happening. Anywho, I get to the next book when I've gotten a good sleep.
