When Stars Are Scattered by Victoria Jamieson, Omar Mohamed

I listened to the audiobook of this, but I’m aware it was originally written as a graphic novel. What an important story for all of us to hear!  This is a memoir of Omar’s life in a refugee camp in Kenya. It begins with Omar as a child carrying for his brother and looking for his mother. We hear about Life in a refugee camp. The hunger. The longing. The waiting. It is incredibly poignant.
