Delay of Game by Maggie Rawdon

4.0

The second book in the series, Liv and Liam have major chemistry, but have put each other in the friend zone. Liv asks Liam to “tutor” her and for some reason her agrees to do this. She really thinks she can finally get him out of her system this way even though they have major chemistry. I loved his protectiveness of her even before the tutoring. This has a lot of the good tropes, grumpy sunshine, friends to lovers, and college/sports romance. This was a great romance that offered that 3rd act conflict that I know some people do not like, but I didn’t mind it here.

I received this ARC through the publisher and I am voluntarily reviewing this book, opinions are my own.
