For me, a sign of a good book is one that makes you think after. And the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is going to sit with me for a long time.

It's filled with characters you root for despite them being kind of awful people, and characters you find yourself empathizing with despite wanting to hate then. No one is truly innocent in this book, no relationship is uncomplicated, and it's thought provoking from start to finish.
