An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green

5.0

I just finished this book and by that I mean just now and also Finished. I read the acknowledgments. It was That Good. Hank if you’re perusing this site which „knowing“ you wouldn’t surprise me: I love you the book is amazing. Definitely do recommend and also actually probably will pop into my ex girlfriends letterbox with a sticky note. I finished this in a day, which I haven’t managed to do that in years (thanks brain) and I already can’t wait for the sequel. I bought this book yesterday. Maybe I’m biased bc I already think Hank is pretty darn awesome or bc I relate to a lot of different things in this book, the (sorta) lucid dreaming, April’s relationship habits, the enormous bi energy radiating off it all (especially the music) the conspiracy vibes and the community of nutters (although they’re not cause they’re right I guess?) and just about a million other little things in the narrative that resonate with me.. maybe I also just have a thing for „mysterious space robots of unknown substance with questionable intentions“.. or maybe it’s just a good effin book
