HRH: So Many Thoughts on Royal Style by Elizabeth Holmes

3.0

Enjoyed this book overall - the Queen rightly gets more pages than anyone. Still it felt like an ode to Diana and Meghan with gushier language about their fashion than the Queen or Catherine's. I love the fashion aspect - I was one of those who wore corduroy knickers in the 80's because Diana did! The chapter on Meghan veres into the whole "she's so picked on", it was all about race ideas (spoiler Meghan is NOT the first biracial royal) to much for my taste rather than sticking to her fashion - but I also prefer Catherine's taste and deportment. I also would have liked more pictures for each one.

Women have sent messages with their fashion choices for centuries! Worth the read - just be prepared.
