Lyon by Elizabeth Amber
2.0
Though the series started off strong for me with Nicholas, the rest of the series fell short of my expectations.
I love good erotica as much as the next erotica fan, but the M/M "shimmerskin" scene was not something I was prepared for. While the scene itself did not bother me, M/M is not something that attracts me. Also, the resolution of Elise/Sibela's identity, the connection to Juliette, and the claim over Lyon took a little longer to resolve than I thought necessary. And what was up with Valmont? I apologize in advance, the idea of incestuous relationships weirds me out.
I really, really wanted to like Lyon, most especially because Raine was a bit of a let down for me, but I just didn't.
