The Bone Code by Kathy Reichs

4.0

There are times, when a murder is being set up (or discovered), that you hear the elastic band of coincidence being twanged hard. In this case it's being twanged to breaking point as Temperance Brennan helps with a body that died so weirdly that at autopsy, she is reminded of a body she worked on years ago, and thousands of miles away, in a different country.

So off she sets, trying to prove they're linked, and identify the four bodies involved.

It wasn't a bad book. I've complained in the past that Reichs has a tendency to stop midway through the story to over explain the story/science. There wasn't as much of that, which is a good thing. It also rattled along at a decent rate, making it a decent read!

My grumble is what are the odds of the 2 sets of murders being linked? I mean, I understand the idea of story, it's just you're going to have to swallow the set up, hard to get into the book.
