such a beautiful and well written book, it my not be the most historically accurate, but it definitely hits a soft spot in our hearts.
when you connect with both sisters and see the situation through their eyes... you find yourself hoping and praying you'll find a happy ending. you hope you see life celebration.
and you do, heartbreaking life celebrations. a tribute to courage and bravery. because both of them saved so many, saved their families and friends. saved their history. left a mark where they've stepped on...
just like they left a mark in my heart, if for nothing else for how well-written those feelings were transmitted to me.
