Forensics: What Bugs, Burns, Prints, DNA and More Tell Us about Crime by Val McDermid

dark informative

5.0

An extremely interesting and inspiring read about forensic science. McDermid describes and explains the words which might not be known to the average person (such as myself) and the photos used further clarifies and completes what is written. As the main point of the book isn't the cases themselves, but how to analyse the evidence, the details of murders could often be shortly and brashly summarised which at times caused me to flinch. I've learned a lot and would wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone interested in true crime and criminology.
