I took my sweet time savoring this book and I’m glad I did. I cried, I laughed. All the things you want from a short story collection. I wouldn’t say the translation was always done perfectly, but the emotion/feeling were definitely conveyed. Satoru deserved better and that story pushed me over the edge but I digress.
TLDR: good for short story lovers, cat lovers, and holding back tears at the coffee shop
