I received an advance review copy for free (thank you, Book Sirens), and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This book was so good. It had me hooked within the first 20 pages. The only thing that kept me reading it in one sitting was the fact that I had to wake up for work.

Watching Haley, the most powerful witch ever born, learn about her powers, fight demons, and protect her friends was incredible. She's just a badass. I love strong, ambitious female leads and Haley was just that. Haley's journey to finding her true self through her magic, romance, and passion is so absorbing. I am excited to see what the next book brings for her (as well as for the other characters we met).

This book was the perfect mixture of romance, friendship, magic, and action. There was never a seen that bored me. I was always completely sucked in by the love, intrigued by the supernatural, or stressed by the action. From start to finish I was all-in: I screamed, I laughed, I blushed, and I cried.

Individually, and as a group, all the characters are incredible. The two main characters, Lucas and Haley, have a connection from the start. Watching their affection, and semi-forbidden love, blossom was so fun. Lucas is a part of the Seven. I loved meeting and learning about the other members of the Seven: Finch, Jack Asher, and Whit. I couldn't get enough of the connection and ease at which they protect, serve, and simply love one another. I don't have the words to describe how extraordinary the Sevens are or how perfectly Haley meshed.

Not to be dramatic, but I don't know how I can wait for the next book. It didn't even end on a cliff hanger, but I NEED MORE.
