Each book by JA Owenby is a pulse pounding, adrenaline rush from the first page to the last word. The intensity of this book was off the charts and had me on edge and at the dramatic cliffhanger ending I’m just wrung out emotionally. I seriously think reading one of her books should counter as a high-intensity cardio workout! No joke!!
I adore the characters in this series and after reading Gemma’s POV, I can’t wait to read Hendrix’s POV. Frankly, I’m not sure my heart can take too many more chapters from Gemma’s POV based on the where this book left off, yet knowing the author I will likely be just as wound up reading Hendrix’s POV.
This series is phenomenal and each book ratchets us the intensity level along with the emotional investment in these amazing characters. The deep love between the couples, and super close friendships between all of the characters really makes this series outstanding.
I’m not going to go any further with this review so as to avoid spoiling any of the author’s well crafted story. It definitely needs to be experienced firsthand without anyone spoiling the experience. I received an ARC from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Now I need to go try and get my heart rate back down and out of the red zone!
