I think I enjoyed the concept of this book more than its execution. The characters seemed a bit flat, and the growing relationship between the two that you could see a mile away (simply because of the convenience of a girl and boy as the protagonists) had no time to fully develop</spoiler. The pacing was off and sort of clunky, but I did finish it quite quickly. I will be honest, i almost DNF’ed this book a few times, but I wanted to see what would happen so I kept reading. I think above all, that is a testament to this book. I will most likely read the rest of the trilogy out of curiosity if nothing else.
