Griffith Review 38: Annual Fiction Edition by Julianne Schultz

6 novellas make an awkward package. I really liked A Minor Loss of Fidelity by [a:Christine Kearney|5856129|Christine Kearney|https://www.goodreads.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-d9f6a4a5badfda0f69e70cc94d962125.png] and I enjoyed Glad, by [a:Lyndel Caffrey|6829193|Lyndel Caffrey|https://www.goodreads.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-d9f6a4a5badfda0f69e70cc94d962125.png], particularly because it is set in the suburb where I live. The others didn't work as well for me, though I think they might be good (particularly An End to Hope by [a:Ed Wright|800390|Ed Wright|https://www.goodreads.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-d9f6a4a5badfda0f69e70cc94d962125.png]) but the length, and being in an anthology, were not a good fit.
