The Woman in Me by Britney Spears

4.0

It’s very hard to rate this book. Maybe it would be better NOT to rate it, honestly. While it’s not necessarily well-written, I didn’t expect it to be. Britney is not a writer, she’s a singer, a performer, and someone who has been through immense trauma. Reading her story broke my heart. Though the writing wasn’t immaculate, I found her story telling abilities very engaging and you can really hear her voice through her writing. I’m so happy she is free and happy now and I hope she continues to heal. A huge F you to Kevin Federline and Jamie Spears. They are truly deplorable human beings
