Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens

this story is about the devastating differences between “lonely” and “alone.” a book that spoke to a part of me that i have spent years nurturing, only to be calmed by the soft murmurs of Kya and the Marsh. i found myself clutching the book as i read the last page, devastated that the only text i’ve felt has understood me has come to an end. if you’re familiar with the curse of loneliness, i encourage you to pick up this read.
