Definitely dark comedy with a western flare. I could not even come close to anticipating the outcome of the novel, but just enjoyed the story and , especially the incongruity of the characters. Dewitt's descriptions are delightfully graphic and gritty deftly supporting both the horror and the humor in the tale.
