Death of a Dentist by M.C. Beaton

Blurb

A blinding toothache sends Hamish Macbeth 120 miles out of Lochdubh to the dentist Frederick Gilchrist, only to find him dead. Since everyone is pleased the dentist is deceased--patients, several harassed women, and even his wife--Macbeth faces one of the more biting challenges of his career.

My Opinion

We find ourselves in a new village with some brand new characters in this instalment of the Hamish Macbeth series. These are short book that are really easy to read and it is so easy to dip in and out of this series. Whilst these books aren't complex, they are in no way predictable. If you have a few hours to spare and you enjoy a fun mystery you cannot go wrong with this series.
