Wynonna Earp: The Yeti Wars by Enrique Villagrán, Beau Smith, Manual Vidal

3.0

I have a friend who is really into the television show that is based off of this comic series, so when I saw this on the library shelf I had to give it a shot. Wynonna Earp is a descendant of Wyatt Earp, and is a sheriff of paranormal things, so there's an issue with some yetis and she's getting involved.

It tries really hard to have Whedonesque wit, but with a lot more adult language and themes here and there. It might try a hair too hard, which is the chief issue I had with the book, but there are a good number of things here that made me at least feel as if this was worth my time. The art was okay, the story, okay, and the experience fine. Not mind blowing or terrible.
