The Heir by Kiera Cass

4.0

I chose to give this book a four-star rating because you can understand the character in more ways than one and about how she came to a realization after so much denial.
I love how the story can have so many problems and at the same time be so beautiful.
Ahren was one of my favorite characters and I was just as heartbroken as Eadlyn when he went off to France with his beloved Camille.
I think the last couple pages regarding love will make the next book worth a wait, though it will be a pain since I just finished this book and I'm pretty sure that the next book won't probably come out until maybe next year or the year after that or the year after that. But nonetheless, I'll wait.
I want to see Eadlyn become more aware of her feelings and hopefully end up like her mother who had such a blissful ending in the previous book...

I wish the author, Ms. Kiera Cass, had separated the two different stories between the mother and daughter because I believe they are deserving of their own series like what one author did with Vampire Academy and the other series completely. Although the characters were all connected to each other, they should have their own series for the sake of having series. I don't think it was right to do so in the first place, since the two selections are remotely different and minutely similar.
Princess Eadlyn obviously had a much harder time because all her suitors remaining all seem fit for prince consort. Even I can't pick! I have it so bad now that I really want to read the next book. I'm weird, don't mind me!
