Was surprised in the best way reading this and seeing how different it was from the miniseries version. I found Mrs. Bradley, like others, through the BBC miniseries starring Diana Rigg. While the original Mrs. Bradley is far different from the tv version, she is quite a refreshing sleuth compared to her contemporaries, Poirot and Marple.
“Speedy Death” is quite good as an introduction to the life and sleuthing of Mrs. Bradley and I look forward to more! It’s quick, a breeze to read through, but leaves us guessing only in the best of ways!
